Plunder Airbus (home of Civvies) is having a pumpkin hunt. I really love this place, it’s unlike anything else I have seen in SL and there’s some brill stores here.

These pumpkins contain clothes, shoes, candy and this hunt is also for the GUYS, oh and it’s easy too!

You can find the pumpkins on the Plunder Airbus, Miau Haus, and Civvies – The Block has a bonus pumpkin. Hunt is on until 31st October!

I dragged poor old Eisa out for this post and I didn’t even have to dust of his virtual cobwebs. Everything worn here can be found on this hunt, (except skin, hair, shape and toast which are listed at end of post)

Getting carried away with Halloween

I’m one of those people that takes inordinate delight in Halloween in SL, but I’m not necessarily all that gung ho in RL. Well, other than the candy part. As I expounded upon in a previous post, trying to get all Halloweened-out in RL usually turns out to be an enormous pain in the arse. Alas.

But it’s the cat’s meow in SL for sure! I love getting into it by picking up great costumes, attending parties, and pretty much just going buck wild. Check out some of these yummies you can pick up for free or close to it as the grid gets carried away with Halloween!
Har har. This “Up Up and Away” freebie pose with balloons from Sugar Mill enables me to make bad puns, hehe. I think I showed it before, but it’s finally available ~ the Rajani hairstyle in “Pumpkin Flecks” from Philotic Energy. It’s not free but it’s just $50L and it doesn’t get any more Halloween for your hair!Also helping the grid do Halloween in style is Noam Sprocket of Gritty Kitty. This scarf that comes in two versions (skinny and not-so-skinny) and a color-change witch hat are $1L in store. I tried so hard to wear that hat, but something about my shape makes most hats rather tragic on me. But! Any Gritty Kitty item for just $1L is worth snapping up and lovin on.

This “Oops, I dun forgot to wipe mah mouth after nomin on ya” gorgy skin is $1L at Beauty Avatar. These Halloween themed flats are a yummy lucky chair gift at MB Creationz.

TheKat’s Meow earrings are one of the many, many, many (did I say many?) amazing gifties you can find at the Jewelry Expo. Be sure to check out the hunt there, too. Details are available on signage in the sim.

This “Crazy Little Belt” from Sn@tch will be a freebie starting Thursday when Ivey sends out her group notice. (I’m proud to say I coerced her. lol – the whole fatpack will be free and they’re amazingly versatile! Woot!)

The “Zombie” pose is free from [LAP] exclusively at the Zombie Love sim by her little vendor there.

YAY, it’s Monday…the start of the weekend, (I’ve decided my weekends start on a Monday from now on)

I’ve been having fun dressing up my transgender alt Eisa over the past couple of days. SL’s gender swapping exploits made me think of this song by Girls & Boys by Blur.

I really loved #7 in the SL Secrets, Shopping Cart Disco blog, “I fucked my alt…and I liked it”, it made me laugh out loud! Maybe I should try it with Eisa, is that so wrong??

Oh and before I go, I found a some great free gifts for girls at the FS Mall too. This hat/hair is free from W&Y and the top is by Izumya, take a walk around the FS Mall for lots more free items for men and women.

I was totally amazed today when I stopped by at Domestic V and saw that ALL the skins are on sale for 5L each!!!! There is also a box of the complete skins collection for 100L!!! Shocked?? Oh yes!! These skins are beautiful, I’m wearing the cheeky sheen hybrid2 (NATURAL) skin in the pic above, only 5L!!

Vain Inc

Toko Voom runs an amazing group called Vain Inc for designers and advertisers alike.

At the moment the group is closed, BUT, it will reopen on 18th-20th for 3 days ONLY (put that in your diaries!), so if you like amazing quality, high fashion previews and gifts it would be well worth making a space for this group… Not only do you find gifts, but designers have secret sales, promotions and really handy information that is often limited to this group!

I wish I had more time to blog today because there are some really lovely items in the group right now, this is the ‘Gangsta’ dress by OOPs

These gorgeous stilettos are the color change ones from Unique Needs, there are 66 colors!! a Must have, and currently FREE!

I really love the high collar and subtle textures of this dress, the leather belt gives it a certain edge. Along with it I’m wearing this absolutely divine ‘Toko Headpiece’ by Valena Glushenko of Diamonde (self tinted) Everything Valena makes is a treat of proportions, her flair for the unique, glamour and high fashion come through always.

These Glamour eyelashes by *GG* Boutique were found on the Fat Fannies hunt Olivia blogged so wonderfully HERE These particular ones are not for sale yet, but available on the hunt ONLY… Hunt finishes today, so if you want them hurry on over to Fat Fannies, you’ll love this sim 🙂

I really love this ‘Nocturnal’ skin in opaline by Gala Phoenix of Curio the lumine blue eyeshadow is so well done and perfectly captures the mood I was trying to create! The Gertrude hair also by Curio gives it a classic 20’s feel.

The ‘TaDa’ pose I used in the closeups was made by Toko Voom and it’s free in the group.

You know I’m no good

Glastonbury Festival in the UK is one of the most famous music festivals in the world. I couldn’t make it there this weekend, so I watched it on TV, (which is almost as good as you don’t get covered in shit and mud and you can go to bed without the fear of someone pissing on you in the night).

Amy Winehouse somehow managed to perform at the festival, dispite being diagnosed with the early stages of Emphysema due to her high intake of serious hard drugs and fags. She punched a fan in the face and sang her heart out…good on her, she’s a love or hate type of character, but I love her!

Well, when Francesca Balogh sent a notice to the Free*Style group about a store called Kazu, I TPd over and as soon as I saw this dress, I instantly thought ‘Amy’. It’s slinky and fitted, retro style with a thick red and black belt (this belt is a jacket layer so can be worn with other outfits). This is definitely a designer worth visiting, the clothes in the store are cool.

I made this pose here based on this pic of Amy so you can have it, in fact, I’ll make a set of Amy poses and put them out for 1L soon. The white strap on the shoulder is actually a bag also free or 1L in Kazu, my bad, I forgot to get a good pic of it but it is super-stylish.

Check this out, it’s almost the same dress, (she is absolutely trashed in this video, but that’s Amy, being wasted has become part of her act)

And how about these for a pair of ‘Fuck Me pumps’? These sooo high ‘n’ sooo sexy snakeskin shoes from are a group gift from SKG , they set this dress off perfectly doncha think?

Hiiiii, this is going to be another quickie one from me, I’m very busy playing my RL at weekends.
I thought it most important that you see this this stunningly striking ‘werd’ skin from Unpredictable group, it’s so unusual and really makes the eyes stand out, I loooove. So beautiful and perfect for those of you who like a vampire/gothic or even a neko look, there’s also a male version.

It works so well with my findings from the LV’s & Co. Cassiopeia Carnival which I think is on all weekend (maybe longer). Lots of freebieness to be found at many stores on the sim. I only managed to find a couple of items as I don’t get much time to come online at weekends, so here’s a lil taster.

Our very own Olivia loves to get her pasties out. She makes everything look filthy sexeh and here she is in the beautiful Fishnet Dollie outfit from The Dolls House also free (or 1L) at Cassiopeia, why have I never been to this store? I also picked up this outfit and fell in love with everything else. I neeeeed moneyz, I want to buy everything in there.
