By all good things I mean my long weekend. By come to an end I mean I had to drag myself into work today like a dead weight. I must be coming down from a sugar high or somesuch!

Tuli sent out a truly stunning skin to her group today, although it came with a sobering message. Named “Faith” as it’s something we could all use, and can never have too much of. My thoughts are with Tuli and her family, lets all send her some good vibes and positive energy 🙂 The skin has beautiful painted lashes, luscious lips and comes in three tones, so y’all are catered for 😛

A new store is something I always get excited about. Kayla Radikal sent me a card letting me know about a lucky chair at Grim Kitteh. While I wasn’t lucky enough to win the skirt, I did this super cute outfit for joining the subscribo. It’s officially Sunday in Australia. My parents are having a Matt Damon ‘Bourne Identity/Supremacy/Ultimatum’ movie-fest in the lounge room, and I decided to be anti-social and teach myself how to use Photo Shop.
So please, bare with my lame photo editing ‘skillz’.

First up Vinly Cafe has set a new freebie – Gucci Style Leather Boots two pairs in Blueberry & Emerald these shinny textured boots make you feel on top, fierce & ready to stick someone in the eye with your stiletto heel to who ever is trying to take the last pair of skinny jeans on the rack towards the back of the store when you clearly saw it 1st! lol sorry random moment xD any who, these are available for a limited time only so get them while you can.

Second runner up, The Dominion Fashion District always has something for you to snatch up (are Vinyl & Dominion related? lol) they put out these adorable, sexy Manolo Blahnik inspired in two tone pink – slingback heels with a sculpted orchid to give it that soft touch. Great for Spring / Easter or even yet for the beginning of Summer (ugh I cant wait!)


They also released booties – ankle high, black suede and patent leather ankle boots. I think they’ll look good in skinny jeans if you ask me (since i don’t think they look so good on me with a dress, but i tried.) You can get these exact same pair of shoes in RED at the Vinyl Cafe.

These purple boots can ALSO be found at Vinyl on a stand. think they are so cute – aside the fact i love purple, i like the way the shoe tip is kind of round kind of like a rain boot :]

So just before Christmas, I got a cryptic IM from Sasy. Something about cats and my fave way to kill spare time in sl!! Turns out, there was a purpose for the vagueness, cos when she tp’d me, I squealed like a 16yr old school girl seeing her favorite boyband! We were in the Popfuzz basement, where I’d been a million times, but I hadn’t seen *this* before!

Do you see that picture? Zoom in if you need to, then take in the awesomeness. The deal is this. There’s a pad with the alphabet on it to the left. You click on your letter and it brings up the slurl of any chair that’s part of the network and currently on say “A” for example. You pick the prize you want, click on the slurl in local chat, and away you go!! I’ll also copy some of the card Hazel gave me:

1. Besides the alphabet list on the side, you can also click on the blue letters directly on the board, those are the newest listings.

2. This board is moderated, we try to keep it filled with decent designers and creators who make their own things. Stores with chair farms, business in a box or resale items are not allowed on the network . We encourage chair hoppers to let us know if a shop isn’t up to par.

3. You can contact Hazel Coppens or Indigo Lucerne if you’d like to get a Lucky Chair Box for your shop. Indigo Lucerne scripted the board and was/is instrumental in its being here.

4. Although you need to visit on-site, you can choose as many locations as you want as SLurls via chat.

I’ve shown just a couple of things I picked up. There’s some huge designers already taking part, if you’re not part of the network and would like to be, contact Hazel to get your kitty box! It’s dead easy to set up, apparently you just fill in the settings card and you’re good to go. Chair stalkers, remember your chair etiquette too, as I’m sure the place will get packed! Ash out.

Syphi is so extravagent, and loves anything lavish which gets her noticed, she found this glorious dress from Crystal Queendom. The price was not extravagent though, can you believe it’s only 1L? I think it is only available at this price for a limited time though so hurry down there.

OMG! Seriously emo moment tonight on the UK XFactor final. Beyonce appeared and sang with one of the finalists (Alexandra, who I think should win). She was so overwhelmeed and in tears, it was an outstanding performance. Which means I have to show Shane Mercado doing the Beyonce Single Ladies dance just cuz.

I’m exhausted just watching that, but I LOVE it! Someone make that dance in SL (or I’ll attempt it)

Ash is having a couple of total crushes atm. The first being Lolli Munster hair. The hair worn below is from the new store, not free, but colour and size change scripted and sooo worth the L’s. Our Dahl posted the amazing skin Miasnow has bestowed upon us for Christmas. Well of course I rushed off to grab it, but I was having an awful day rezing stuff (as in it just sodding well wouldn’t). I found the tray Dahl was talking about, and clicked it a couple of times. And I got food!!! A gingersnap and a cupcake, nomnomnom. This is one of those tingle moments. I love it when I get to a store, and it rezes and I go “Ohhh”. I had one of those moments when Niki from Axel dropped her LM on me and I landed in the store.

Gorgeous right? And yours too if you head to the store. This is in a wee gift bag by the subscribo kiosk. The collection is small but stuuuunning, very reasonably priced and the textures are impeccable.
