Bah!

So I’m feeling thoroughly sick, I have eaten waaaaaaaay to much choccy today. But Mini Ash is totally stoked at her scoreage (she woke up at 5am to hunt her eggs!)

I had logged into a message the other day from Dakota, asking if I wanted to blog the dollarbies at the new Dakota’s Skins And Shapes. After much squeeing, I answered a terribly sedate “yes please”!! Shown above is the “Prettyboy” shape, a total score and a very welcome change from the huge muscle mary type of shape that makes me roll my eyes. Shown with a shirt from Mayden Couture, Kmad jeans, and some ossum sauce 5L Skull VanZ from Amplify. The skin is an old promo gift from Damiani, which could still be available? “Joshua Deco” is all beaten up and teary, perfect in my books!

I was so excited about my next find, I read about these sneakers here (thanks Gabi!) Get thee to Hoorenbeek to grab em! There’s girls and boys sizes in the gift, you’re looking for a HUGE easter basket. Hit up the subscribo while you’re there, and you’ll be rewarded with this nifty shirt. The skin shown from Laqroki isnt free, but I wanted to show that the shape worked well on diff boy’s skins. All the boy’s hair was a group gift from Kmad, might not be available now, but definitely worth checking the subscribo and inworld group.

LeeZu Baxter sent out this beautiful dress through the subscribo the other day. A million and 27.5 layers and looks to play with! The skin shown is another dollarbie from Dakota. It’s a beautiful Sezmra mod, very delicate and pretty.

Oh Hai

So I’ve been crazy busy getting ready for Easter Sunday, eggs to be hidden from prying eyes/hands, before I can hop round pretending to be the Easter bunny and well hide them all again!! Also I’ve been having a crazy creative streak, and when that happens, I can’t think of or do anything else. You can see some of the stuff I’ve been working on here, alot of it’s nude content though, so if boobs offend don’t look!

First up, this lovely, warm and cozy dress from the Lunas Boutique group. It’s starting to get colder over here, and I find I’m wanting to dress my av in warmer clothes, (when I’m not nakies :P) Although the pieces appear to be no mod, there’s a resize script, perfect from prim phobes like myself!

Here we have the weekly dollarbie from Concrete Flowers in the form of this super cute skirt. Paired with a dollarbie shirt from Fairytail. Check out my skin!! My friend Evangeline Schism from SchismPhrenic has been hard at work again, and you can get this skin free with any purchase from her.

Looky looky! Thanks to a tip from the chatbox, off I went to KA Designs. I was rewarded with a complete “Kate” from Lost avatar. There’s a boys set too, you get everything you need except hair!!

Remember the hawtness from Dare Designs I showed you? The Enforcer set is now out in the main store, and the pink colour shown here is the lucky chair exclusive! But that’s not all! Dare sent out the red mask set to the group. The mask set contains 2 versions of the gas mask, and the hat, so you can pair it with your own fetish wear. Crimson Chair And More

Mini Ash went back to school today, woohoo!!! Means I also have to go to work, but dealing with grown up children will make a nice change 😛

Lets take a look at the latest dollarbie from KOSH, named “Kretch”. Yes, it’s named after that Kretch, the uber cool Sn@tch model I have seen strutting her stuff at many a show. I love the textures on this set, all earthy and warm, it won’t be available for a linden for very long, so best to grab yours now.

This morning I woke up to a folder from the lovely Lokum Shilova of Crimson Shadow fame. Yes! It’s time for lucky chair newness there, so get to stalking. There is one simple rule for this hunt, and I’ll paste it from the card so I don’t bugger it up: Rules:
Simple. Come, hunt, don’t give away the locations of the eggs.

To keep it fun for everyone, anyone caught publishing, shouting out, or giving away the locations will be ejected from the sim – possibly banned. This includes TPing people directly to the eggs. It’s called a ‘hunt’, so let’s keep it fair for everyone.

Moar hunts and such

With Mini Ash being on the mend (read running round like a lunatic trying to kill hug the cat) I had some time yesterday to do stuff.

My favie store Axel is having a hooooooooge sale. Everything is 50-75% off. There’s also 2 dollarbies to be had, the gold dress shown here is one of them. Your old LM’s won’t work so please use the slurl at the bottom of this post.

Then I found out about a hunt at Miasofia. Cue bloodcurdling scream for the lack of group notices (ps LL sort that out soon pls kthnx) You’re looking for fried eggs, theyre not hidden at all, the idea being for you to explore the new build. I also won twice on the lucky chairs while I was there, this dress from Lurvebite is one of my winnings!! Also made me realise I have some kind of bug going on when taking pictures of items with glow in them. Anyone else having glow issues or is it something *special* reserved just for me?! I also won a gorgeous “Romance Room” from the Miasnow lucky chair, which I left on Sasy’s beach, bah!

This gorgy chocolate dress is one of the Lurvebite gifts. It comes with a choice of 3 skirts and all sorts of layers, yay!!

OMG. Is this not the cutest skin in the whole of fucking SL? This is prize number one from Miasnow. It’s different from the original Hunny skins, especially around the mouth and nose, I love the changes! I’m hoping for a new line of these *bats eyelashes* 😛 On another note, for this post I used the VR Foundry pose HUD and library (after getting yelled at by Sasybum for not having an updated product!!) I’m not good with technical shit, but Sas has an awesome video of the front page of her blog, outlining how to use the pose stand, HUD and HUD library. I was moaning about not being good at location pics, and also the rezing of poseballs and such is an issue. Not anymore! Once you get the hang of using it, it’ll revolutionize your photo taking, srsly. Ash Out.

A Weekend Of Washing

So Mini Ash managed to pick up a tummy bug of some sort from pre-school, so I’ve spent the last 48 hours doing the following routine: Holding her hair for her while she pukes, cleaning up floors, toilet etc and disinfecting, showering mini Ash, washing her soiled clothes and redressing her, changing the bed sheets and washing those. Lather, rinse, repeat. I am buggered, but I’ve been sitting on these pics for a few days, so while madame sleeps I thought I’d get this post out.

First up this gorgeous dress from VictoriaV. I was there while doing the Alienbear Easter hunt, in completely the wrong building of course, wondering why there were dress and not jewelery there 😛 After combing the place from top to bottom looking for Alienbear, I found this dress. You’ll find it on the lower level, along with 2 red dresses. Shown here with some yummy jewelry from DM Designs. You can thank Sileny for that one, she told DarionMonkee Levitt (the designer) to get in touch with me, yay for new stores!!! Also, the hair! I had shown you the gorgeous skin you could get from the Cupcakes Easter hunt, so I thought I should also show you some of the clothes. The perfect shoes for all these outfits are the scrumptious flats from Flair, not free, but worth every linden.

The following tops are from Ibizarre. I had gone there for the sale, of course I was about 2 days too late!! I joined the subscribo, and was given the jacket. The tops are a linden in store I believe.

Oh god I hate it when I wake up, and it’s raining, been raining all night. Dark skies at 7am are just wrong. Specially on a Weds, specially when mini Ash decided at 2.30am that there was no way on earth she could sleep in her own bed. Specially when she takes up my whole damn bed.

Van Stantz, he makes me happy, in fact he makes me squee. These amazing boots are yours for free, for a limited time at EvA. As always, they are scripted sculpts of yum, and we are spoilt rotten. Be sure to fangirl Van and Evangeline if you see them!

Next we have a gorgeous opening dollarbie from Amaranthus, a new project from Elbereth Nightfire of Star Kindler fame. This is a bit of a departure from the jewelery we are used to from this talented designer, featuring Victorian gothic pieces that are just stunning. The perfect foil for these gorgy silks from Silk & Satyr, also an opening gift. Do hit up the subscribo, and do spend lots of lindens in this yummy store, it’s my first choice for silks…….srsly.

And here is where Ash got thoroughly fed up today!!! Ash and Q were looking decidedly similar, so here we have the new (for the moment) Ash! I’m prob the only one that can tell the difference, but that kinda counts..right?!

I haven’t posted about the cutest store on the grid for awhile. Lo*momo long ago claimed that title in my books, and there has been no contender since!! I have to admit, the thought of hunting at 300 stores scared me a little, also the strain of my already ridonculous inv had me fearing sim crashes and all sorts of other madness on Ash. So with that in mind, the only choice is to do it as Q. Also, my personal plan of attack is to go to my favie stores first, then have some exploring time, going to stores I’ve never heard of before.

This first outfit is the hunt gift from Little Heaven. The ears are made of total win, all floppy and pierced!! You even get 2 types of hair with this gift, but I had a hell of a time trying to get them to look right so I haven’t shown them.

An amazing gift from Wretched Dollies shown with shoes from Nonko. You get a choice of aprons to wear with this outfit, I chose the ones with bunnehs on it of course!! The gorgy skin is the gift from Chaos By Design. The pack also has mens skins too, yay for the boys!

And lastly on today’s hunt agenda is the outfit from Bare Rose. Shown with the TOTALLY NOT FREE NEW HAIR FROM ETD. Can’t wait till the stores properly up and running, oh Elika how I’ve missed thee!! Look at my adorables shoes!!! These are the new gift from the Dilly Dolls midnight mania board. I’d get in early if I were you, the board has no problems filling up as soon as it’s opened again!! No wonder, these are colour scripted so you get 790856078540 options.

Bunny Fever And Sparkly, Magical Unicorns

I think I must have had a glitter overdose, cos if I haven’t been running round the grid dressed as a magical unicorn, I’ve been hopping round decked out like a bunneh!! Just like Ach, my daughter thoroughly approved of my attire today, although she did ask at one point for moar pink.. ahem.

The other day, I got a notice from Prism Haute Couture and off I went to check out the new releases. I was also lucky enough to get this dollarbie while I was there, shoes included. It’s the perfect spring outfit, can be mixed with anything else you may have in your inv already!

This is the not free new release, but it’s so gorgeous and fun I had to show it. Journey McLaglen told me that she had a great time putting this together, and personally I think it shows. I didn’t even have to fiddle with the prims, can’t get better than that seeing as prims and I = fail!!

This cutey is from Apple May Designs and is 10l till the end of the weekend. Shown with amazing boots from Bax Cohen, not free but look how gorgeous they are! Plus you have a million ways to customize them to make the look your own, a nifty ankle fixer and all sorts of other things that make em worthy of the L’s.

Midnight Mania And A Little Something Called Harry

Midnight Mania is relatively new in SL but is proving to be be terribly popular among store owners and shoppers alike. I have found so many new stores because of their MM board (read spent 40,000L in the last week alone oy)

The amazing corset piercing pictured came from a tip in our chatbox from a mysterious anon, as did the skin. Both are breathtaking, and I was so stoked with my new piercing, I kidnapped a wicked pair of boots while I was at Brimstone Creations that went perfectly with an outfit I was about to photo (more on that in a bit). The skin, oh wow, I love the eyeshadow. Doux Petite Dahl is a new to me store, and they have some breathtaking skins at stupidly affordable prices as well as some yummy clothes. I didn’t have time to look round properly but I will be back!! (Sounded kinda ominous huh:P)

This landed in my inv a couple of days ago, and resulted in much squeeing in Dare monroes IM box. Apparently the outfit actually begun it’s SL as just a skirt, and then as is often the case morphed into something else entirely! As with all outfits from Dare Designs, you get 657988780o options, pieces and ways to wear it. The boots are the ones I mentioned from Brimstone Creations, not free, but they were so perfect I had to have them. Check out my skin dammit! Meet Harry, the gorgeously freckled beautifully scarred new skin from Imagen. Only available at the Harold location, and totes not free. I hadn’t been there in ages, and was actually looking for an outfit I saw on Welma’s blog, but ended up with this instead. Pretty smexy no? The sunnies are part of an outfit from Lunas Boutique, not free, but there was a sale on last I heard. Don’t quote me, I’m running so behind on everything, if I died tomorrow, I probably wouldn’nt turn up to my funeral till next year XD. Ash Out.

The Sweet Scent Of Spring

Celebrating the change of seasons is something Ravenlynn of LVS fame has become known for. I loved the pirate event she had last year, and her Halloween happenings are always incredible. This spring is no exception.

I present to you the “Spring Fling” event. Running for 3 days, all the outfits shown here are dollarbies you can pick up round the sim. Each outfit has 6 colours to choose from. Above is Spring Fling Cutie in Red.

I love her dollie dresses, and the bright colours make me happy!! Above is Dollie in Tears. The yummy shoes were a subscribe gift from Sweeter Than candy.

Isn’t this babydoll the sweetest, shown here in Orange, in honor of our Elvish colleague who is obsessed with all things Orange.

This is probably the most “traditional” spring dress of the ones shown. It comes with a bonnet too, with a choice of 4 hair colours, perfect for the Easter parade!! The dollarbies are really easy to find, head outside the store and look for massive flower pots, you’ll find the outfits contained within. The hard part? deciding which colours to get 😛 Ash Out.
