I haven’t done an artsy farsty picture for ages, and rarely do them for the blog as I’m petrified of over processing and not showing the clothes off properly. But, one of my amazing new skins from Miasnow was screaming for some special treatment!

This incredible dress I won from the Haute Couture lucky chair this morning. It is just stunning, and I totally felt all regal when I put it on. There’s 3 outfits in the chair that I saw, and the time between letters is only 5 minutes. I won 2 dresses in no time at all! The Cleo hair from Inorite just seemed to fit perfectly with the look I was going for, not free, but tell me it isn’t the shiz!! The gorgy crown is seperate, so it can be worn with other hair, but why would you wanna?!

Check out my pretty top! OKR tp’d me to Fishy Strawberry to get my hot little hands on this a couple of mornings ago, I love love it. Isn’t the skin just so amazing. The lovely Feo from Freebie Telegraph told me about it while we were stalking the Miasnow chair together. Please don’t faint, yes we do share tips and don’t scratch each others eyes out, sorry to disappoint 😛 You can grab this from the Ami’s Style group. German Fashion & Style Show + Gifts and other stuff!

From one of the notices that was sent out today I discovered the German Fashion & Style Show which runs from 17.5 – 14.6.2008 , so there’s plenty of time to grab these great gifts, I was just desperate for some lag ‘n rubberbanding 😛

I am only featuring a few bits in this post, there are tons of freebies & dollarbies…

gowny goodness

on account of my penchant for princessitude, i’m an insatiable slcollector of all things formal. a few days ago i heard some chatter among the free*style groupies about free gowns at defleur and since i’m a rl-distracted space cadet lately, i had kind of a delayed reaction to the scuttlebutt 😀

anyway, you’ll need to hover your mouse over the dress displays to figure out what’s free. natalia basiat has generously set quite a few to 0L, but this smoldering ruby champagne gown is my absolute favorite of the bunch. i’m wearing the slim skirt option, but there’s also a full foofy ball skirt. it’s something marilyn monroe or rita hayworth would have giddily poured themselves into any day:

i’m a huge fan of kouse singh’s stunning work, and her latest dollarbie does not disappoint. the leopard print and electric blue are sort of rebellious rock n’roll fairytale princess:

and yes sweetie darlings, the hair was free free free at the curl up and dye salon. BUT i snatched the melanie style up at their saint patrick’s day instore hunt, so i can’t imagine it’ll be available for nothing after today. when you get to the store, look for the little pots of gold (don’t worry, they’re not hard to find. i found most, if not all, and i’m never able to find anything at these hunts), and purchase the corresponding color pack for 0L… et voila! pretty new hair! there are a few styles for men as well.

Cheri can’t blog for Free*Style right now – her pooter is being norty, so I’ve got her to strike some poses for me in these amazing dresses.

The first one is this glorious romantica golden gown by Adam and Eve, the textures and detail on this are amazing and not only that, you also get a pair of sculpty jewelled shoes. I have no idea how long this will be available for free so hurry and get it quick.

Tete a Pied Goodies

Tete a Pied has relocated to a new sim. It’s fabulous, really imaginatively built with lots to explore and beautiful clothes and skins for men and women.

To celebrate the opening of the new store, 3 tickets have been hidden for you to find. Once you have found all 3, rezz them near the ticket office in the train station and you will be given a suitcase. Open this and you will receive a set of ladies and gents limited edition skins.

The ‘Fleur’ makeup is beautiful and glamorous, retro style with cateye liner and pouty red lips. There are 6 skin tones in the folder.

I dragged Eisa out again to model the Tete a Pied limited edition male skin called ”Dapper’. He looks like a proper gent who would open the doors for the ladies. It’s great skin with a tidy tache and there are also 6 skin tones in the folder. This is definitely not Eisa’s usual look and you can tell he’s not entirely comfortable with it, he prefers a bit of guyliner.

Have you ever noticed when a male shape is made by a girl, it often looks ever so slightly effeminate?

Eisa is wearing one of the suits which can be found for free at the back of the train carriage. Again, very well made and extremely realistic. We really must do more posts for the guys, there just doesn’t seen to be as much quality free stuff out there for you guys, I will make it my mission to find more. Please send me info if you find any (preferably by notecard in-game).

Thank you to Ansel Michalik who sent these hints to the Free*Style group. These clues saved me a lot of time and meant I could enjoy exploring the sim instead of peeking under tables and crashing into people.

“While doing the ticket hunt in the train, go to the back of the train. There is a free grey suit for both men and women. Also, in one of the first cars there is a pair of gloves on the seat. They are free also. Good luck on your hunt. For a few hints: Look at the coffee cups on the train, the fire by the lake and on a seat in the station.”

Everyone in Free*Style is raving about this stunning free dress from Nicky Ree, a shocking pink colour with a plunging neckline..love it! The pretty necklace worn is a Free*Style group gift from La Reina (Thanks Gogo!). La Reina is a beautiful seaside shopping area with lots of great stores.

This amazing butterfly dress is so huge I could hardly fit it into the picture. It is seriously awesomeness, you will certainly stand out from the crowd in this one….and it’s free!! I received the link from this a few weeks ago but have only just found it again in my packed inventory. It comes with the ribbon hair accessory. I’ve just received this elegant dress as a group gift from Bossa Nova, isn’t it lovely?

Hello from Creamy

Welcome to my first blog one and all. I decided to create this blog as I am excellent hunter-down of fab free stuff and I’d like to share my finds with all you girls and guys. Yep, I will try my best to find guys stuff too.

Creamy is not my main Avatar, she’s a sort of side project, to see how lovely I can get her to look with as few Lindens as possible. You won’t find Creamy in any outfit or skin which is nothing less than she deserves, she’s a classy chick with no money but she will never beg from others…that’s bad SL etiquette. Of course if someone offers to give her something she won’t turn it down.

This first blog is just a small one, so it’s just about the one outfit today (pictured above). This beautiful dress is called Lucia from Bossa Nova, you get 2 dresses in the folder, 1 black and 1 white and you can mix them up. Bossa Nova is a gorgeous little store which often does fab freebs, it’s worth joining the Bossa Nova group as (name) often gives out freebie outfits, when you join the group be sure to check past notices for any freebs.

My skin is a group freebie from Minnu, it’s called Hollywood Gloss, very 40’s looking – I love it, I couldn’t believe my luck when I got this for free as Minnu is one of the best skin makers in SL right now. If you join the Minnu group quick and look at past notices you can grab this skin while it’s still there.

My hair is called Olivia from Diversity, it goes perfectly with this skin for a 40s sort of look. If you are under 30 days old, grab a voucher from Diversity and you can choose any hair you want from the store. Diversity also have guys and girls 1L hair at the back of the store.

The Mary Jane Shoes are also from Diversity/Digit Darkes, only 1L, this is the silver pair but you can also get a gold pair for 1L

The black pearl necklace is from Yummy at Tableau, (1L) for a box of necklaces, brooches and handbags. My earrings are from Amaretto, they come in a 1L outfit set which includes a dress and jewellery which I will blog later.
