I’ve had another fun idea for the Free*Style Flickr Group , I’d like you to send photo’s of outfits you have put together from lucky chairs/prize camp chairs and I’ll make it a regular feature on this blog.

Take some snapshots in SL. Upload them to Flickr (free to join). Join the Free*Style Flickr Group and add your pics to the group by clicking on Organize (top of screen) > all of your content > groups > and drag your photo’s onto the Free*Style group.

** The main subject of the photo must be free or 1L and still available at that price, but you can also wear full price items. I’ve got a great example for you today. Crimson Shadow have 2 fantastic outfits on the lucky chair. The Blood Parlari suits (for men and women) are only available on the chair for a few more days so keep checking if your letter is there.

This skin from Unpredictable group is perfect for this outfit. There’s a male and female skin in the group, they are both pretty much identical makeup-wise. I wore the male skin with my Mike Oxlong shape (1L at Free*Style), it looks so like the Steve Strange from Visage (yuss showing my age again, ooh but this was an ace band.) The likeness here it’s scary – yet cool….check this out.

Goth-meets-Kitty-meets-Tiny-meet Victoriana

It all started with some beautiful free boots from The Laughing Academy and then all the free goodies Apple Pop has been giving away. “How can I fit all of these in one post?” I thought, “I don’t want to give the Fashion Feed a serious spamorama”. It’s turned out as a bit of a mish-mash here of Goth-meets-Kitty-meets-Tiny-meet Victoriana.

I decided to use Miaow (my kitty alt) for this post, it’s easy to find stuff in her inventory as she only has 3,509 items – all perfectly ordered. I don’t use her very often so I found a few items in the inventory which I had forgotten about, and still available YAY!

Sooo, first I found these glorious outfits from Kouse’s Sanctum in my inventory. This first one was a group gift – the message is dated 4/14/08 so you only have a few more days to get this. Items only remain in notice archives for 30 days

Ghanima at Blue Blood is another talented designer who amazes me with her beautiful creations. She works so hard, constantly making new and inventive outfits/skins (for both sexes) and her designs are pure quality.

She is giving away another fabulous gift at her store, the Gom Jabber red dress. I find it really difficult to take good photo’s of full length dresses I wish I could show this dress in the way it deserves, TP to the store and see it for yourself.

Club Kaya

This is just a quick note. Like I said in my previous post, Club Kaya is having its first anniversary party, and it ends on the 12th Japan time! There is this gorgeous dress from Little Heaven as one of their anniversary freebies and I don’t know how long they’re going to be there. They have really nice live music and it’s definitely worth a trip!

Discord, A Gothic Surprise

At last, another kitty post for you today, Miaow has been out prowling all morning and discovered a new amazing sim called Discord – Nightmare City, it’s a gothic/neko dark place, a fantastic build. When you first arrive you land in an enclosed spooky enclosed area, you have to click the sign to TP to the main entrance.

There is a row of TP signs to each area, The clothes, tattoo’s animations and hair are amazing and really great prices. I really need the B-Girl AO, it’s only about 200L, there’s also a B-Boy AO and Vampire and Zombie AOs if you are into that sort of thing, those are on Vampire Street. Whatever you do, don’t go to the dungeon, eeeeek, I was trapped!!!

Pochette has a store there too, you click on the sign near the entrance to TP. The Pochette area is a total contrast to the rest of the store, a lot brighter but still slightly haunting. I took most of my pics here because it’s so beautiful. Outside the Pochette store you will find the denim skirt worn in these pics, this is exclusive to this location.

The Broken Sunshine backpack and huggable doll are both group gifts from Catnip, how adorable are these? Join Catnip group and this is in message dated 3/29. The black and red tank worn here can be found free at the entrance to the Discord store.

Stand & Deliver

It’s really hard to get back in the blogging ‘swing of things’ when you’ve been away, hence absence of blog post yesterday – I had loads of stuff to catch up on in RL and SL.

I’m delighted so many designers have contacted me to join the group and inform the Free*Style group of free items in their stores. I really hope that this works out great for everyone.

Yesterday, Ghanima Uriza of Blue Blood contacted me to join the group as a designer. She kindly sent an amazing outfit out to the group and as soon as I wore it I felt inspired to make an Adam Ant skin as it reminded me of the outfits he wore. I know, loads of you will be too young to rememember Adam Ant (or maybe he wasn’t famous in your country), he was my first crush. Thank the Lord you can’t see this skin close up, I had such problems with the lipline it drove me nuts. If anyone wants it I’ll put it at Free*Style but don’t laugh when you wear it ok? I’m a total Photoshop novice and have no patience with this sort of thing, this literally took me half an hour and it shows!! (I based it on Eloh of Another Shop’s Lf0 skin which you can freely upload the pdf files from the Another Shop Website). I even put that little heart above the brow which you can’t see here, I was quite proud of that.

Believe it or not, the skin I made is pretty true to life, Adam’s makeup looks like it’s been put on with a trowel and so does mine 😀

How cute is the little watch necklace? The detail is amazing, the little hand is constantly turning. This was a prize camp pressie from Magika. The ‘Rock’ hair is FREE at EG Prim Hair.

This stunning rubber/latex gown is available for free in the store. You know me, I’m not very good at dressing goth or vampy but when I wore this outfit ….. woooahhhh!! It’s truly awesome, the textures, the way it moves – beautiful! The photo’s don’t do it justice, go to the store and see for yourself.

Well, look at this tranformation today. Finally my letter came up on the lucky chair and I got this funky afro from BP, I think the whole of SL will have this hair soon (it rocks on guys too!). This hair is becoming an obsession!

So Ivey at Snatch has put some more free items in the store (Yay Ivey!!!), this first one called ‘Cry Baby’ is free somewhere in the store for a week. I’ll give you a clue, when you TP into the store walk straight ahead and go left to where the stockings are at the a back.

Cry Baby has slightly mucky leggings just how I like them, like you’ve been getting up to ‘I don’t know what.’

The next item is available for free for 24 hours and then it will be back to it’s full price again, but, if you look hard you may find another free item, you have to look at each ad to see which is free.
