Who Knew?

I’m not sure how often this wonderful woman has been blogged but she is very deserving of attention.  Tucked into the corner of the Monkey Mall at Baby Monkey is Rarurick Ragu’s :WhoNose: shop.  Rarurick has a very distinctive style of layered skirts and uses lush colors.  The first dress is an exclusive gift for the Lucky Chair Stalkers group (it’s in my profile).  We recently grew to over 1000 members and Rarurick’s store is a big favorite of one of the group owners, Elliandra Parx. 

I paired the dress with the adorable elven skin and ears that Brutus Martinek gave to the Pididdle subscriber group.  She is eliminating her regular group by the end of the month and going all subscriber.  I believe you must be in the group already to receive the gift so get over there and get your name in.  She is one of my favorites.  The hair is a score from Madam Ashia, who told me that you can get older Kin hair free on XStreet.  All the hair I feature in this post is from there.  There are other styles, including some for men.  

I was telling Rarurick today that her Lucky Boards hate E so she came over and set her boards to wild for a spell and some of us got this incredible dress and egg backpack from her lucky boards.  The colors in the egg are fantastic.  If you don’t want to wait for your letter or want different colors she has a fatpack of eggs for only 50 L.  If you see Rarurick around the grid she is probably wearing a Lucky Board backpack that really gives out prizes!  Look for her for a gorgeous pink dress.  The skin I am wearing in the last three pictures is a new dollarbie from Beauty Avatar called Alyssa. 

I’ve been anticipating these shoes for a long time.  My darling Pixieplumb Flanagan, the creator of Baby Monkey shoes has been working on these hunnies for awhile.  The Ultimates are prim footed shoes and get this:  You can pick your skin tone from a menu (or you can match colors)! The nail color can be changed as well as the toe rings.  This style was a group gift today to the Baby Monkey Junkies group.  There are 4 more styles in about a million colors.  And even better: if you are a member of the Baby Monkey Junkies group you can get them for 100 L a pair!!!!  Nongroup members can get them for 150 L, which is still a bargain, but Pixie is such a generous designer and always working so hard to expand her selection.  I’ve been a devoted fan forever!  

 I received this incredible dress yesterday from On the Catwalk through their subscriber.  It is a very sexy number which wonderful texturing.  I didn’t show the back but it has a great skull graphic.  It’s hard-core and posh at the same time.  It is #1 (Ed Hardy mini-gift) in the messages.  I haven’t taken in off since I got it.

Its a great time to be free…

With hunts and the wonderful generousity of so many of our talented creators in SL, ones inventory is soon ballooning beyond control. As you hop about in your gathering frenzy, I do hope you take a breather, and maybe just a moment to type a quick random act of kindness “thank you” to these designers… everyone hears complaints, so its nice to get a little happiness in your day.

Ssshhh, spot the green!!

As I’ve mentioned before on the blog, if you’re a hard core RP type, finding “your look” can be terribly hard on a budget. Recently there have been some incredible packs floating round the grid, covering all sorts of looks/avatars. So today it’s the turn of the vampire. Fitting as one of the terribly good looking undead has joined our ranks 😛

Lunas Boutique is a store I’ve blogged a few times, discovered through Fashcon around the New year. Do a search for the LL group, there are some super cool gifts in the archives. Including a pose hud stuffed full of poses, total must have. But these outfits are what I’m stoked about, a gift from Candy Shop (in the Lunas Boutique group archives). They are complete vampire avs, including skins (not shown) shapes, teeth, emote hud and all the clothes shown. So many options and stunning pieces, to say I’m blown away is an understatement! Skins! The skins worn with the red outfit are from the Imagen hunt. You’re looking for 20 teeny shamrocks, and you’ll get 19 skins and some eyes. If anyone needs a hand, drop me a line inworld and I’ll be happy to help. None are hidden in walls or anything like that, lets just say that sometimes the most obvious hiding places are the hardest to find 😛 The skin worn with the black outfit is a gorgeous dollarbie from Domestic V. There’s a huge sale going on also, and loads of freebs on the ground floor (you’ll find the skin shown upstairs).

I had to sneak a wee bit of green in here!! This beauty is a group gift from Fairytails. You’ll need your group tag activated, then snag this for an L. The skin I’m wearing here, and for the rest of the post are part of the Rockberry gift for the most random hunt ever. I love love love them!

I saw a small post about this store on the Freebie Telegraph, and had to go have a nose for myself. Nah! is a new to me store, and all these outfits are free from there, unbelievable! The brown dress also comes with super cute cowboy boots, not sure if you can see them too well. I can’t wait till the store is fully stocked so I can go spend, as at the moment, everything is free. Now I’m off to try and give mini Ash a bath, hard at the best of times, but the little princess is sick, so I anticipate much sadness! Ash Out.

F*Me Pumps Part II

The Dominion does it again! What can I say you have to get there before they set something out (however that works lol). My last post about the other boots were quickly taken away/gone. – Apologizes to those of you who were unable to find or get them. It was too late. Areas such as these need to be frequently & quickly checked up on. & although the lag may be a bit bad, & packer than a sardine can when somethings out & new it’s either deal with it or forget about it lol (i have missed some lovely shoe/boots myself) So moving on… these are pretty much the same boots they’ve released before but added with a small detail to make them appear more chica (chick in Spanish) like. For all you Pink lovers, these black suede ankle boots, & the thigh high boots now come with a pink bow & pink bottom sole outline! To be honest I’m not that into pink BUT I think these boots look very adorable & yet still hot with the bow, so i guess you can (should) take my word for it 😉 The ankle boots can be found directly at this slurl, they are on top of these grassy like cubes HERE. The thigh highs w. pink bows can be found at Vinyl Cafe at Vixens.

Also/however, at Dominion District at the center where they usually place their up most recent boots – freebies, you will find the same thigh high boots but with RED BOWS, & RED BOTTOM SOLE! They all look hot, makes me want to sing “these boots were made for walking” i forgot the name of that song lol

I got double lucky today….

Got this “Rabit Police Red” when my letter came up in the lucky chairs at Umi Usagi (it includes the hat & gloves), and prim cuffs and collar with tie!!

And consider myself double lucky for remaining in the DejaVu group, as she has at last reopened her shop, and set out this “Reopening Momo hair” as a group gift! The skin is a new freeb from [42] called Goth Whites.

i wish my sl experience wasn’t always so lagged (i need more memory & better graphics >.<) i would've taken pictures somewhere there's a ship or what not but eh… -.-

These cute outfits are by =IZUMIYA= for .::PeppermintBlue::., named Sailor Collection, one set is in red & the other in gray & pink. As shown, there many different ways to wear. It comes with short sleeves, tank tops, shorts, long pants, skirts, knee high stockings, & two different color hats, in both sets! In the gray & pink set it includes the sneakers shown/worn, but the red outfit do not included any shoes. i pretty much threw on anything black on my feet found in my inventory. These black heels are pretty cute & free in the your sl inventory! Found in the ‘Professional Female by Adam n Eve’ folder. Almost forgot to mention, on the back of the shirt it says ‘Sea Gang’ & something else I couldn’t really read on the pants but i found it cute just because it’ll be cool to take photos with a bunch of people in the same outfits. PeppermintBlue is always providing goodies for the public so you should always check in on them when you can, to see what is their latest, especially before the deadlines. Yes deadlines, meaning no more, gone, unavailable, poof. lol here is the schedule for the Sailor Collection:

Lastly, >TRUTH< has two freebie hairs that i just adore! in 1st photo i am wearing Deanne in auburn, & in the 2nd Berri in auburn also. by far i love Deanne just because of the headband. i guess it put the cherry on top for me. (located on one of the back boards in behind the main pillar of hair section. If you have any issues finding them IM me & I will take you to them :]) i feel so beautiful, & don’t look warm? I’m wearing lessthan3 special gift, sugar skins GODIVA, & eyes included in violet. It can be found on the round looking table when entered. The outfit which isn’t fully shown (sorry) is by =IZUMIYA= not free but incredible affordable for only 25L. it comes with shoes/flats, bangle, three different hoods (with/without strings, & different cort sizes), purse, stockings with a really nice design on left side of leg, sweater, & undershirt. Totally Twisted

Firstly, a hearty welcome to all our new guest bloggers, especially Ms Eden who I have pestering for months to start blogging! Now you all can appreciate her razor wit as much as I do, yay!

I’m gonna start things off quite sedately with this gorgeous, classy number from A Piece Of Candy. A store I haven’t blogged for ages (shame on me!) You’ll find this, some skins and 2 other outfits in the latest subscribo gift.

And here we have “Jazz Baby” from the ever generous Ms Lemania. Shown here with the stunning “Kept” choker I picked up from Sable Rose as part of the massive Twisted Hunt. There’s a lock and key version in the folder and both are my new sloves.

And speaking of the Twisted hunt, I thought I’d show a few of my faves. I know it’s been all over the feed, but hopefully my faves don’t clash with anyone else’s!! These silks are from Subtle Submission, and I adore them. They come with the wrist and ankle chains shown, and cover quite a bit more than regular silks, perfect for shyer wearers!

This is the gift from Blueblood, shown with the most amazing hair from Burning Chrome. Apart from the yummy hunt gifts, you’ll also find mucho goodness at the main store, and hit up the group too, a little bird tells me there’s something waiting for you 😛

I love love this dress from Skinzor, shown with incredible stompers from Self Expression. I’m only up to 20 something out of 103 pressies, so far some have been easy to find, others really really hard. Best advice I can give is de prim, take your time and above all have fun with it. If you can’t find a gift, move on to the next. There’s a list of the stores participating on the blog, and it’s not the end of the world if you have to leave a gift till later. And for the love of all things holy, don’t be an asshat kthnx 😛 Ash Out.
