I love this band Vampire Weekend and now I have an excuse to inflict them on everyone else…

I’ve gone vintage Halloween today, I’m channelling Dita von Teese after she has just been fed some raw human. Did you know that when Dita goes to a Halloween party she dresses like a normal girl without makeup – that’s her outfit, that’s what she said in an interview last week.

This retro dotty gorgeous dress is a free gift from Ingenue. Also comes in many other colours but only the orange is free. The hair is a freebie by Jetdoll at Savoir Hair and the teeth are part of a 1L Vampirella outfit from JetDoll (see here for complete outfit, I blogged it nearly a year ago and it’s still available in store)

This web and spider jewellery is a free gift from Star Kindler, beautiful and intricately detailed, it’s hard to show it in its full glory in these pics. (Woops just noticed Ashia has featured these here too) There’s no such thing as overexposure when it comes to this luffly jewellery though.

To be honest I’ve got a bit of beef with Halloween in RL. Call me an old grump, but I find kids I don’t know (most of them bigger than me) ringing my doorbell and begging for sweets pretty annoying. Now my girls are desperate to do it “cos everyone else is”. Gaaahhh what to do?

Thankfully we are going to be out at a party later, so hopefully we will get back late and miss all that.

I’m Having a Gang Bang!!

Don’t kill me, but this post isn’t entirely about freebies. It is very important that you know about this – you’ll thank me for it in the end, mark my words…read on luvva’s.

Thimbles has a MASSIVE 5L sale on everything which is orange or black, or a combo of both until 31st Oct. I love this store so much, the clothes are fantastic and created with such humour, even the names of the outfits are funny.

I decided to have a team get-together WITH MY ALTS to show some of the clothes here, the first time this has ever happened in my history of SL.

Actually, my craptop would find it impossible to run so many sessions of SL, so I just superimposed them onto a photo together, yes guess who only just figured out how to do this in PS (ableit very badly :D) If I had planned ahead properly I coulda done a mass Alt Orgy with them in all sorts of positions together, maybe next time…

Absentia makes the heart grow fonder

This my favorite kind of post, NEW stores, yay!!! As I mentioned in the comments of Cream’s post, I still get so excited when I find or am told of places I’ve never been to before. Part of that excitement stems from wanting to share awesome finds with yooos!

These gorgy dresses are from Anachronism. It’s a small store, with all sorts of yummies, including teddybears!! The orange dress is free for Halloween, the black dress isn’t free but I had to have it! Check out the amazing chokers and cuffs. The first set is a group gift from P/A, my all time favorite store. You’ll need to have your group tag active and click on the sign in the main store to get this. The second is a terribly versatile leather set from the uber talented Rosie Barthelmess of Sable Rose. Grab yours and say hi while you’re there!

This beautiful skin is part of a huge Halloween gift box you’ll find at Absentia. I’ve shown it with the Queen of Hearts set from there, not free, but worth every penny to not be tortured with my nekkid ass doncha think!!

This super cool outfit is from Nyte ‘N’ Day. Nyte has loadsa shtuff out for Halloween, including apple bobbing!! There’s a whole heap of T’s too, I’m sure you boys could grab them. Only available till Nov 1st. Follow the slurl in this post to take you directly to the freebie area!

Costume Fair And Other Things Ash Forgot

Have you guys heard there’s a costume fair going on? Well, I had totally forgotten, and was merrily shopping away in Silent Sparrow. Then I was reminded by the most beautiful blue mermaid that I should really check out the fair!! I was actually supposed to participate as a designer *coughs*(bad, bad, bad Ash).

hehehe…I just did some pre-holiday Trick or Treating at Crush Row. Lots of goodies await, most are free and none are above L$1. I really love Crush Row. It’s such a cute little area. The build is appealing and easy to navigate. The shops themselves are ascetically appealing. I enjoy shopping in this place, it reminds me of RL shopping lanes, the kind that you happen stumble across, the ones that become your favorites and fill you with surprise and glee. The selection of stores is great and I always come out of Crush Row with bags full of new lufflee things to wear. Head on over now and look for the boxes/bags sitting outside the shops on top of hay stacks. Sn@tch’s is inside the shop. And mark your calenders for October 30th @ 6-10 slt. Crush Row is having a Black & White ball. Dress up in your fanciest B&W garb and don’t forget your mask! *continued…

Plunder Airbus (home of Civvies) is having a pumpkin hunt. I really love this place, it’s unlike anything else I have seen in SL and there’s some brill stores here.

These pumpkins contain clothes, shoes, candy and this hunt is also for the GUYS, oh and it’s easy too!

You can find the pumpkins on the Plunder Airbus, Miau Haus, and Civvies – The Block has a bonus pumpkin. Hunt is on until 31st October!

It was Mister Creamy’s birthday yesterday, hence I am pretty hungover today.

This blog post has actually been 5 days in the making as my time in SL has been pretty limited lately. I have often logged on but I am rarely at the screen, Mister Creamy is working from home now and our girls are on school holidays, so lots of other stuff going on these days (which is not such a bad thing). My ‘To Blog’ folder is seriously filling up, if you are a store owner and have an item you would like us to feature, please can you also send it to a fellow blogger in case I don’t manage to do it.

So what have we here then? First up this outfit from JE*Republic is really something special, it’s 10L but you get so much for that price, the outfit is beautiful quality and includes the amazing boots, hat and glowing wand. Upstairs in the store you will find a really stylish bag and hair for 1L.

The JE*Republic outfit also includes this handy little torch for those daaark spooooky places. These photo’s were taken at the Cutting Class Halloween Hunt, it’s such a brilliant, fun build and the hunt is pretty mentally challenging. Unfortunately I felt like I was walking through treacle so I didn’t get very far. I’m definitely going to try it again on a less laggy day (is there such a thing?)

This S&S skin is not witchy at all, but it’s so pretty I had to show youi. You can win this on the lucky chair in store, also another skin is available.

While I was doing a some lucky chair stalking for the beautiful outfits at Katat0nik a couple of days ago, I happened to see an advertisement for Trepid Station, so I thought I would take a break and go explore. This place was so much fun, its an old disused haunted train station. My 5 year old daughter was as I exploring this place and she got scared.
