one of these days i’ll time how long it takes me to pick up freebies, lose them in my inventory even though i have a completely useless folder named “!!!BLOG ME FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!11,” find said freebies, acquire more, get distracted by something shiny, remember that oops, i promised to blog things, take pics, hate them, upload them anyway, hate them some more, mess around in picnick, realize it’s past my bedtime, realize i have yet to even get anywhere near blogger, yawn, stretch, get a drink, scratch my ass, and all that was like, yesterday.

ANYWAY.

the i ❤ the starlust group is the group i think i want to hump mostest at the moment. their generosity is so frequent that i do believe my timbers are thoroughly shivered. some recent gifts include a bouffanty ‘do from pudge and schadenfraude‘s scrumptulescent pair of dinosaur socks complete with wee prim dino toes. TOES.

free speerit‘s owners have clearly gone completely mad or whatever because they just gave their group a ginormous array of gifts in one fell swoop… including the pink cheeked skin you can barely see here, because obviously i was more consumed with looking pathetic than, god forbid, showcasing a skin. the skin folder has several super fun, err, makeups (one has a dainty moustache drawn on). the obscenely short shorts were a twosome group gift which i belieeeeeve are still available in the notice archives. the emodorable shirt (which instantly puts this song in my head 😀 *pauses for an impromptu chair dance party* ) from the paper street soap company wasn’t free, but for 25L i couldn’t pass it up. there’s tons of other affordable cuteness in the store including a bukkake skin, which little birds tell me will be the next hot makeup trend.

so speaking of the starlust, split pea‘s given away a couple fantastic hats to the starlust group as well, like this delectable thing:

so, what else… sevan’s changed their name to pink couture, and opened a new store and all… if you enjoy bright foofy little dresses a la cupcakes, you must visit this store. to celebrate the new beginning, they’re giving away this flowy pink babydoll which immediately made me want to be blonde and (badly) channel my inner gogo:

“Link was passing through my forest, and it seems his pouch of rupees had a hole. Now it is your task to collect them all up!

This will take place at the main HQ spot, on the whole lot, both levels, in Lyashko, at the Stringer mens store and grounds at Mapinguari, and also at my sister’s store and grounds at the same site, just walk out of the mens store and you’ll see hers!

In the folder with this notecard is a sample of the colours and sizes of the rupees (NOTECARD WILL BE PASSED TO THE FREE*STYLE AND STRINGER GROUP). Wear it to see the sizes that you are looking for. The largest is the green, next blue,red, then lastly gold. The type of rupee determines the type of gift. Here is a rundown:

Greens: 3 mens-skin&hair, 7 unisex-hair&eyes 10 womens-skin&hair
Blues:, 2 unisex-odd items, 4 womens-complete avitar&skin
Reds: 8 unisex-pets/hair/horns3 womens-eyelashes/hair/hat
Golds: L$100 gifttcard, L$250gifttcard, L$400gifttcard

Now the gold rupees are brought out at random, one each day of the hunt. Sometimes it may be more, like the first day, and after that whenever I want to put out extra. Join my group”Stringer’s followers-info group” to know how many on which day, and how much it is.

The gold rupees will only be hidden in my actual stores, just so it’s a bit easier to find, rather then it being the WHOLE grounds. So just the Shrine, Mausoleum and the Mens stores.

The PHlow Down!

When I logged in this morn I felt like the luckiest girl in the whole world! A dear friend (who wants to remain nameless XD) had sent me a fat pack of shoes as a gift. It blows me away that someone would spend money on me!! So from the bottom of my heart, thankyooo!! Anyone who knows me, knows I’m a total shoe whore, so I was squealing with delight for the best part of an hour XD! I had a post planned on a new store PHlow, Lowee the designer makes super cute mix and match pieces and as it happens, they go perfectly with my brand new shoooooz!

MG Fashions sent out a gift to their group this morning, and guess what? The shorts in the pack sooo matched my shoes and corset, ha and all this before caffeine!!! Ash=happy!

Gossip Girl Gifties

Today I checked out a notecard which Brooklyn Boomhauer sent to the group (thanks Brooklyn) about loads of free items at the Gossip Girl sim. I know there are a lot of Gossip Girls out there who are already aware of this but I had never been here in my SLife and to be honest I’ve never even seen Gossip Girl either. I live in the UK and it’s not so popular over here – I do mean to watch it though because it sounds like the sort of programme I would love.

Anyhooo, I had a wonderful time exploring the sim. It’s huge and I kept getting lost, luckily I bumped into Flute Fall who works there and she kindly gave me a list of all the stores which have freebies – this is also in the Free*Style group notices.

Yes, the amazing, supremo talented Four Yip has done it again, she’s made outfit for all you aspiring Charlie Chaplin’s for free!! The box includes a male and female Charlie Chaplin outfit and a moving background movie type scene.

The female oufit is gorgeous, I’m channelling Charlie’s sexy sister. It actually comes with a really low cut cleavage exposing shirt, but I forgot I was still wearing male Charlie’s shirt here.

The male outfit is traditional Charlie Chaplin but you also get a female shirt with flower print to give it a girly twist, these pants are really versatile and a great fit. They will match up with plenty of other items in your virtual wardrobe. Oh and you NEED these eyebrows (I just realised I forgot to wear the ‘tache).

The Cinema is so funny and inventive, it’s really hard to capture on photo’s because the background moves, (it’s times like this I wish I could do machinima.) You can re-enacte your own Chaplin movie just like Express and I attempted. There’s a bike contraption at the side, of course the faster you pedal, the faster the background moves (not really but that’s what I told Express).
