Fashionable Relay Challenge!

It’s my turn in the Fashionable Relay Challenge that the lovely Sasy Scarborough started up a few days ago. Samsara Barzane created a fabulous look for her part of the challenge, and the rules of the game are that I take one item she rocked out in and wear it here. Of course, this being Free*Style, I found a few good freebies to pair with the item I chose, the /artilleri/ scarf (but in blue & not free).

I first headed to Tuli’s hunt on her Journey sim to find some items to pair with the awesome /artilleri/ scarf. One of the prizes to find is her Kalista skin in a makeup especially for the hunt, “Valentine,” and I’m wearing the “light” skin tone. I also found this adorable cable knit cropped sweater vest in “Sand” that Tuli made too. It’s a great neutral and basic piece that goes with so much.

Then I checked out the massive 50% off sale going on at Sn@tch. Not free, but the deals to be had are too good not to post about! I picked up this thermal and these delicious chocolate cords at such a steal. Rumor has it that some items in the “Cheapie Room” are marked down to $0L during the weekend-long sale!

A few other free items I found to finish off my post for the Relay Challenge that aren’t new but are great basics. These light blue Miriel eyes are part of the wearable demos graciously set out in-store, and these Maitreya pumps are a group gift for joining the subscribe-o-matic that Suri recently blogged.

P.S. Those sweater prims appear darker because I was using the beta viewer to take photos. If you use the test viewer, be sure to remove the gray tint so the sweater prims will perfectly match – like I should have! XD

Hippogroups are awesome. Ingenue has one now, and if you click to subscribe and then go to the first message, you will get this gorgeous group gift, the Bye Bye Baby dress in plum. It has a front drape or a back drape, depending which side of you is feeling especially dapper. Totally T’rrific Terry!

It’s been a wee bit quiet on the western front where my friend Terry Toland has been concerned. I’ve hardly seen her at all, and was wondering why. She’s been a busy bee!! Knowing that alot of players come to SL to role play (and I don’t mean slex, I mean proper RP ya filthy lot!), Terry already has some amazing avatar packs set out for free at her sims. You can get a merfolk kit, Dark Elf and Fae. These are all complete, with hair, skins, shapes, eyes, clothes and AO. All of these Terry has made with attention to detail, and the skins she modded herself from the Eloh bases.

New to the packs already available, let me introduce Sullivan and Carolyn. They come with everything you need to get started playing a peasant, there are 2 size shapes, dwarf and taller, eyes, skin, hair, clothes, shoes and AO. I forgot to change shapes for Carolyn (bad Ash) but look how cute Sullivan is, all cuddly and such! You can find these at Dynamic Recluse in Sordoh.

My Candace from Sweeter Than Candy sent this out to the group the other day (yes I’ve claimed her too cos she totes rocks!) the shoes come with it, as well as a pair of thigh high boots I haven’t shown.

Remember how I tortured you with amazing but not free boots from EvA a few posts back? Well the incredibly generous Van has put these babies out for your strutting pleasure. You’ll find them next to the ankle boots display. Thanks Van and Evangeline, you’re making our SL ridiculously smexy! Oooh I nearly forgot! The tattoo! It’s from Otaku Designs. My letter came up half way through me doing an item camp, camp soon abandoned as this tatt has ice creams and cupcakes on it….it had to be mine XD! Now I shall go back to the joyless task of trying to find all my PS brushes and re download them, as along with the buttsecks from the grid, my computer died and I spent the weekend reformatting the HD…..again. A Trip Through The Ages

So Christmas is over, NY has been dealt with (and hopefully recovered from), but our designers, oh our lovely designers haven’t stopped giving! The spoiling we have received has been epic, making me want to roll around in pixely goodness.

This amazing concoction is from the Orage Creations subscribo. We have all blogged this amazing store at one time or another, not only are the dresses amazing, but the designer is so terribly generous. There is nearly always a dollarbie at the main store, and upstairs you’ll find a discount section.

This offering from Twisted And Spoiled (not the main store, the Wild Hollow Mall location) came to me via a fashcon notice (which was actually for another store, but I stumbled upon a tree filled with gifts from various designers). The slurl should land you right next to the tree, rezing takes awhile so be patient. It’s a Christmas tree, so I doubt all the gifts under it will be available for much longer.

This was also sent out through Fashcon (yay I’m loving this group a bit more atm). A New Years gift from Spork. I’m showing it with a subscribo gift from Unique Needs, yus the shooz!! Hit up the kisok for yours, you get all sorts of other goodies in the gift too!! Happy New Year Ann xx

Ash’s Wish For Christmas

Dear Santa (Philip Linden) could you pretty please with tier on top fix it so that I get group notices? Even when I’m online, I don’t get messages from my all time favorite group Silent Sparrow. I love getting notices from Hya, I *hate* finding out about new releases 4 DAYS LATER. It makes me emo dear Phil, there is much sadness, for me and the poor people on my friends list who have to listen to my whining. Also, while I’m asking for stuff, for the love of all things holy, give us more group space please. Love Ash.

Now onto fabulousness!! There is a new lucky chair set in the group only chair at Silent Sparrow. There’s something for the girls and as always, something for you boys too. It’s been ages since I’ve given my boy av Longest Jonson an airing, and what better excuse to dust him off than a suit from Hya?

The suit is actually unisex, as there are attachments for both guys and girls. I love the Toxine suit, I have it in 3565246 colours already and the lolita versions too!

I logged in this morning to a folder from Evangeline Eames (that awesome lady Eva shoes is named after!). You can get a gorgy pair of mules for free under the Christmas tree at the Dominion, as well some cute lingerie for 10l a set. The tree is located round the corner from Eva shoes.

This morning I’ve been dragging myself round the grid, yesterday was minime’s birthday and I am exausted!! Not to mention a wee bit sunburnt! The perfect antidote for that was this beautiful group gift from Evie’s Closet. You can now join the group for a nominal 100L fee, which is nothing really, considering the value of gifts given this month alone. I’m feeling such a lazy sloot today. I had a big girls night out last night which was fun, but ugh, I’m suffering now. Thankfully I took most of these pics yesterday, so this post has not required much effort,

Little Fish has a really great outfit for free for a limited time to celebrate the opening of the new store. A gorgeous knit sweater and sexy jeans which give good buttitude.

These glorious emerald green shoes I found on the Footprint Hunt at R2, all of the shoes in the store are AMAZING.

I needed to buy an outfit for a girly night out tomorrow, so off I went into town. The first shop I visited…THERE IT WAS, the perfect dress…and only £25 (so of course I had to spend a fortune on accessories, because the dress was so cheap).

I was only shopping for an hour, which is not enough, so I logged onto SL to quench my shopping urges and look what I picked up. Many of these were found whilst I was doing the Footprint Hunt, but not all items are part of the hunt.

Bold Prints and Big Shoes

To make up for the fact that the group shoes in my last post aren’t available, I’ve got some lovely sculpty shoes here which are free at Blue Blood this week.

I have a confession to make that I still have not done the POE hunt yet (just not had the time). I just happen to randomly visit a store and a globe is there, which is what happened with this beautiful dress I found at a lovely store called salon de pigeon blanc . You will find this gorgeous dress in the POE globe in the store, all the clothes are so cute and inexpensive here too.

The lamp in the background is free at an adorable store called Roseo, which I only discovered today. Check out the clothes upstairs too.

I’m scared of my inventor(ies), yeah I’ve not got just one to keep clear – they are all filling up now *my brain hurts*

I can haz some random stuffz of yumz!

Wee! In one week exactly, I’ll be done with the hell that is law school exams that I’ve been moaning about on Plurk for like…an eon. Yuss, an eon! And then! You must deal with me for three weeks straight. Muahahaha. *attempts to look scary and foreboding, etc.*

Yeah, yeah. I know I’m not so scary (and that’s probably a good thing). But it would be scary not to acknowledge how much of the awesome is floating around the grid right now in celebration of the holiday season. My post contains a mishmash of stuffs from all over ~ forgive the lack of organization. If it’s not about the Federal Rules of Evidence, it’s not all that coherent in ‘me brainz. Meep!

That Peace on Earth hunt is really something. If only we could bring about peace via hunts in SL. Well, I think everyone who is participating is doing a dandy job, because I’ve never seen anything like it. So many vendors coming together to give a little something is really quite rad!

I’ve had a few moments here and there to stumble around the hunt. One of my favie designers, the one and only Tulikins, has made a traditional Dutch outfit that is really adorable, all the way down the cute shooz. I paired it with the latest {Frick} skin that is a recent subscribe-o-matic gift bloggeth by the lovely Ash here.

I’m going to follow Creamz’ latest lead for the friend shoutouts and blog the non-free hair I’m wearing above and below from Philotic Energy. The hairz above is called “Adi” and I’m vain enough to pretend it’s named after me. The below hair is called “Zoey,” and honest to goodness, I got my hair cut like it irl after I got it in SL. The cute little asymmetrical cut has gotten me stopped on the law school campus a few times, and I have Aemilia Case to thank for it! Shanks, Aems! (Let’s not discuss how crackhead my stylist thinks I am… :/)

But, never fear. There is a lot of freebie goodness above. The shirt is a part of the Eat Rice freebie from the Peace on Earth hunt, as is the pants from Sam’s Secret Boutique, the shooz from ShoeFly, and the legwarmers from DeLa.

There’s also a new yummy from the Crimson Shadow lucky chair that is too good not to stalk. This crimson gown is stunning, and even includes a back piece to float around during the season.

It even comes with shooz! It’s really a fabulous ensemble, so get the lucky chair party going for sure!
