Bring it on Santa!

OK folks you better get used to this, all the Christmas goodies are gonna come in thick and fast now that its the 1st Dec. You’ll be so sick of red and green by the time I’ve finished with ya.

Ghanima of Blue Blood has made the most gorgeous dress for her lucky chair, the cute Santa’s have been drawn with her own fair hand, this will be available on the chair until Christmas so don’t all rush at once, even though I know you want to.

Amazing hair shop Waka & Yuki has a new group gift hair in store, this is where I have been getting most of my hairs lately. Fantastic styles at great prices, most items are less than 100L and some are scripted to change colour/style. To get this one you must join the group and touch the sign in store, check out the huge bow made out of hair on top of the head. Lubs!

The festive green fur is a group gift from xxYOMESHOUJOxx , also comes in red. The gorgee skin I am wearing is by Wigwambam, you can find this at Free*Style in the skin section.

Tartan and fairies

Aye aye folks,fit like the day?

It’s St Andrews day here in Scotland tomorrow, althought I’ve been rocking my tartan for a while already, cos I love wearing it.

Big thanks to Kharisma who left a comment on Adaire’s post about this gorgeous free ‘Tarty Party’ dress at Callie Cline, (remember to wear underwear with this because I didn’t notice until I felt a little chilly ‘down there’ – gives a new meaning to stripping the willow)

I spotted this cute little tartan dress outfit worn by Welmita on This Doll Has Handbook blog, so I had to go down to the Miroku store to get it, the red one shown here is freeeee, other colours are available at full price, it’s also scripted to change size with a click.

Now onto the non tartan’s, whilst at Miroku I also found this gorgeous gypsy style dress which is free for group members, (join the group and touch the sign in store), I could only find this at the Miroku Tenjin store

…and omg, as luck would have it whilst wondering around Miroku, my letter came up on the lucky board. I am amazed by this glorious ‘fairy of flower’ outfit, it’s all glowy and ethereal-like. This outfit is only available on the lucky board at the Miroku mainstore

When I logged on today I noticed that komeko Shinn, the incredibly original and stylish designer behind [/NoLabel/] Has given the most generous gift out in her group: Drunken Cowboy boots in brown! (complete with bourbon flask tucked into one of them!!) you should also check her amazing earrings, accessories & clothing out. She’s extremely talented, I ❤ it all!

Without further ado… These babies are the group gift!

Textures are really well done and have a resize script, so they’ll fit pretty much any foot/leg combo! Have to say they look remarkably cool, I’ll be wearing these a lot! You can buy them in her store in other colors for $250 which is very reasonable for this quality

Really like the way the toe points up that little bit more than other designs I’ve seen!

The other bits I’m wearing are the gorgeous tartan scarf from Edge Grafica, along with the waistcoat and short shirt & skirt from the ever generous Peppermint Blue (no longer free).

Whoops…

I meant to show you the 1L Mrs Deli Salami top from Ki2 earlier in the week when it was first released (thanks Kiki for sending it to me and I’ll smack my bum for being hugely disorganised). Ki2 give out a 1L goodie from their store every week and this week it’s a gorgeous purple top, hurry though as it’s been there nearly a week already.

It looks great with a bit of Edge Grafika, (the pants have been featured before by Cheri and they are a firm favie in my virtual wardrobe). I am trying to find any excuse to wear this tartan scarf right now, I love it, this is the new free gift from Edge Grafika. This entire ensemble is something I would wear in RL.

Damn group notices not coming through! I only just discovered this lush green jewelled top which is a group which is a group gift from M&R Cupcakes (250L join fee) which was sent out a few days ago.

Yeah maybe I’ve gone overboard on the tartan here, but you know I have to – being a Scottish lass and all that.

Everytime I see beautiful creations like these, I wish I could make clothes in SL. Believe me, I’ve tried and I suck.
